My Students

The school theme for this school year is "Navigating our path to greatness." In my third grade classroom, the students are striving to do just that. There are students who come from a wide variety of backgrounds. A majority of the students in this school come from low-income families. Although the students come from different backgrounds, they are all eager to learn and have fun while doing it!

I am doing everything I can to create an environment that allows all of my students to thrive!

My Project

Students are on the go constantly in their daily lives, so why should they be expected to sit still in the classroom? Students become more engaged in their learning when they are able to make choices in their learning. With the addition of the wobble cushions and the bouncy bands to the limited flexible seating options in my room, every student will have the opportunity to add movement to their day.

The students will be able to use both the bouncy bands and wobble cushions at their seat to incorporate movement and create minimal distractions for their peers.

The wobble cushions will also allow the students to move around the room to complete assignments independently.
