My Students

My students range from 9th grade to 12th grade. They are learning AP Economics and AP Seminar--a relatively new class focused on research, writing, presentations, and collaboration. Classes begin at 7:19 a.m., and some students have difficulties waking up after a long night of studying, homework, sports, and just being a typical teenager. I have seen a clear difference between my early morning classes and my midday classes. These Zenergy ball seats will engage students physically so that their minds can be engaged in the learning process.

My Project

The Sacco Zenergy Ball Chair is designed to keep a person actively moving, engaging muscles. Since students will be physically engaged during the class, their minds will also be engaged. Studies have shown that movements while learning helps to reinforce understanding. With these chairs, students from grades 9-12 will be more active, physically and mentally, in the learning process. Please consider helping us out with a donation. Every donation will help us achieve our goal of creating a learning environment for economics and literature—two areas of study where students struggle to grasp the content.
