Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are eager pre-kindergartners, and this classroom is their first school experience. They are part of a Title I school with the majority qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch. Most are English language learners with Spanish being their home language.

Children today learn in many different ways, and teachers must discover these ways.

The best way to do this is with hands-on activities. With early intervention and more opportunities, these children will become better students, who develop a love for learning earlier.

My Project

Please help me give my students alternative flexible seats for students who might need a little extra help on certain days to help them stay focused.

It is critical that students move and wiggle in the classroom while they are socially distancing in the classroom.

The Gaiam Balance Ball Chair would help with improving posture, help students focus, give students a energy outlet, provide an outlet to move around without distracting other students, and will help allow the students move and rest naturally upright. The flexible seating options will also allow my learners to spread out and work comfortably.
