Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students have many different needs when it comes to learning, including how and where they sit. While I love letting students sit on the carpet, it's not always possible when doing messy projects.

Having access to flexible seating options and fidget toys will help my artists find ways to move their body in the art room while they find success.

My goal is to be able to provide many different options for students to find flexible seating that works for them. The fidget toys will help students listen while I am giving directions, and will help students calm down when they become frustrated. My students are so talented, but sometimes have trouble when it comes to sitting still and regulating themselves. Seeing them find success with flexible seating will be so special!
