This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our students are from the urban core of Kansas City, Missouri. We work to develop the whole child, and ensure that all students are leaders by the time they exit our school. As a Leader in Me school, we value student, teacher, and family leadership. Students not only learn academic skills at our school, but they learn life skills that are critical to their future as leaders! Our students will greatly appreciate your gift of flexible seating in their classrooms!

My Project

Our students are motivated to learn every day that they come to school. Providing students with choice and a voice in classrooms is a priority at our charter school. Students from Kindergarten thru 5th grade deserve to have a say in their learning, and we are proud to offer student choice at our school.

Flexible seating provides our students with a choice in where they actively learn.

Students will have opportunities every day to use these wobble stools. Teachers will allow a variety of students to access the flexible seating, and ensure that students are provided with all of the skills they need to be successful while using flex seating.
