This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Flexible seating options in the classroom are beneficial for students in so many ways. It gives them the autonomy to choose the seating option that will work best for them while making them aware of their learning needs. Flexible seating makes it easy for students to move around the classroom without disruptions, collaborate with others, regulate their physical needs and keeps them focused on their work. When students have flexible seating options available, they are more motivated than when they have traditional seating. Unfortunately, the classroom I am in does not have any flexible seating options and my kindergarten students could really benefit from having some available.

The wobble stools I have selected are comfortable and lightweight.

Thus giving my students the freedom to work in different areas of the classroom throughout the day. I plan on using them during my small group work or as an alternative chair. I strongly believe that having these stools available will help my students tremendously! Please consider donating to our project and help bring these stools to our classroom.
