My Students

My 20 amazing students are smart, motivated, and confident. They are excited to learn and are full of curiosity. They have been working hard to help our school and district be a safe and comfortable learning space that everyone feels welcome and a part of. My students live in the North Minneapolis community and feel our school helps them feel included.

My students have taught me so much thus far in my career!

I am so anxious to see what is to come and how much more we will learn and grow together this year! My goal is to ensure my students have the best learning experience possible, with the resources and support they need to succeed academically and socially (social-emotional development).

My Project

These stools will make a difference for my students and their learning by giving them options for flexible seating while learning! The stools will also give us more space in our classroom to move around easily, since they are smaller than chairs and easily stackable!

All students learn differently, and I want to make sure my classroom community has options for all of my learners - these stools will allow for students to feel more comfortable and have a different option other than chairs or the floor.

These stools will be a motivation for students to work hard independently, collaboratively, and comfortably.
