Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year I would like to offer my kindergartners some flexible seating options as well as some more choices in the class library. During Covid students did not have many choices and were not able to sit with partners. This seating will benefit partnerships as well as individuals who want to work alone.
Books both fiction and non-fiction are an important part of the day in our learning.
Students are able to pick out books based on their preferences, interests and reading levels. A new and improved library are so important in our day to day learning.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
