Students in my classroom embrace collaboration! Recently, we added a few flexible seating options and they were a hit! We are hopeful to add a few more options.
More options for seating will provide opportunities for students to work comfortably.
They enjoy working around the room in groups on the carpet, having standing discussions, and at different tables. A variety of assignments require a variety of different seating arrangements to facilitate the flow of creativity.
Students will be able to burn off a little energy with wiggly seats and yoga balls or stretch their legs with a standing desk. Providing access to flexible seating will provide new learning options for all students.
