My Project

These materials allow my students to have options in the classroom. I want my classroom to be more inclusive and have more options for students to choose to do their best learning where they are most comfortable. We have co-teaching at my school, and I have had the pleasure of getting to do it for two years. I have learned that just desks are not enough, and some have more success when they are on the floor or when their seat can give more sensory input. In the future I will be able to also be able to co-teach and I want to be prepared for when I get to have them again. I would also like to have my students be self-evaluating when they are thinking about their own needs even if they are not necessarily identified as having sensory needs.
