My students are special! They are in 4th grade in the Dual Immersion Program. They spend half of the day learning Spanish with me, and the other half of the day with their English teacher.
My students love learning Spanish and its culture and they try to do their best every day.
They are smart, hard workers and are always eager to learn more! They make an effort to communicate and use the language they are learning in class and I am very proud of them!
My Project
I would like to provide my students with flexible seating options so that they can be comfortable and in a more relaxed classroom environment while learning.
Flexible seating will help my students to make choices that support their learning needs.
It will help support learning by offering them the ability to move as they focus and work on their assignments.
The wobble chairs and balance ball seats will allow those students who are more active to stay on task while they are able to move. The floor seats will help the students who like to work on the floor by providing them with a comfortable seat.
Having the option to offer students these resources will be incredibly helpful in their learning experience.
