My Students

My students are creative, determined, and full of passion for science! They come to school excited and ready to learn about the amazing things this world has to offer. Our class encourages questioning and seeking out solutions to all sorts of problems.

Our school is a large, culturally and economically diverse middle school in Houston which aims to prepare students to succeed in a 21st century world.

We work together to better our class, school, and community by pushing one another to be the best versions of ourselves. We are the future of science!

My Project

Flexible seating gives students what they want - choice! Students are able to chose a seat and an environment where they can learn the best. These wobble seats can be used in a chair as a moving cushion or on the floor. Sometimes students just need to move in order to focus, but the classroom might not be the place to do that. Wobble seats can allow them to get that movement without disrupting class. Ultimately I hope to use these wobble seats to give students a choice in their learning environment and provide the much needed movement other students need.
