My Project
A circle time rug is an essential piece of classroom furniture in a preschool setting, providing a designated space for students to gather and engage in group activities. This rug helps create a sense of structure and routine, signaling to the children that it’s time to focus, share, and interact with peers and the teacher. By offering a soft, clear boundary, the rug encourages children to sit attentively and participate in discussions, story time, or circle activities. It also provides a safe and comfortable area for all children to sit, which is important for supporting their physical well-being as they develop social and cognitive skills.
Our preschool classroom is in need of a larger sized flexible seating option to support the diverse learning styles and needs of one of our young students.
While we have 3-in-1 cube chairs already in our room, we need an option that is larger in size to accommodate one of our students. We have tried several different seating options which have not been successful. We were provided the opportunity to test out one of these benches and have seen great improvements already.
This bench will offer comfort, mobility, and versatility, allowing the student to engage more actively in classroom activities and improve focus. It can be adjusted to suit a different learning environment, providing both seating and a personal space that encourages independence. By helping us provide this flexible seating for our students we are providing them with a stronger sense of independence, inclusion, and room to grow within our classroom. Thank you for considering this contribution to our classroom and making a positive impact on a child's education!
