My students need balance balls and balance discs for flexible seating options. This will help their focus during instruction.

My Students

My students are a very diverse group of learners! 100% of the students in my classroom receive free school breakfast and lunch. In my classroom we have multiple different languages spoken. We have learners of extremely varying academic needs. Our classroom has lots of busy bodies!

My students are in need of flexible seating that will fit their needs and better equip them for more focused learning and instruction.

I believe that these items will help to reduce student behavior issues, provide opportunity for their bodies to get some movement during instruction, and encourage more focus and attention throughout the day.

My Project

I have included in my project 4 balance balls and 4 balance discs. The goal is for students to use these products to do their best work and stay focused on their instruction through flexible seating. The balance balls and discs will be placed around tables of varying heights so that students can find the seat that works best for them.

My new second grade learners will be encouraged to take responsibility of their learning by choosing a seat that helps them do their best work.

These seating options will help my students learn valuable skills such as self-monitoring, focus, and regulation throughout our day!
