This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting flexible seats for our classroom. I would like to provide my students with the option of sitting on a couch and using side tables to write. I would also like to provide them with a cubby so that they they can put their classroom materials such as pencil boxes, folders, books, and journals. Having a welcoming environment will help my students feel comfortable and relaxed.
Flexible seating has been proven to improve learning.
