My Students

Our classroom is designed to support students not only academically but also socially and emotionally. It is a safe inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and listened to.

My students are a combination of General Education students and Special Education students.

We are an inclusive environment that focuses not only on academics but also on creating a safe, warm, loving classroom where every student feels capable and willing to take risks. Each student is given the opportunity to complete their work where they feel they can do their best.

My Project

In traditional classrooms students sit in desks that are sometimes grouped together and other times they are in rows. This is not always the most conducive way for students to learn. By providing students the opportunity to sit how they are most comfortable they will learn better.

Flexible seating means more engaged learners who then become more engaged thinkers.

By providing my students with tables to sit at, they can then collaborate with their peers on not only group projects but day to day learning. When students are able to learn together they take their learning to a whole different level.

These new tables will allow my students to learn and grow together.
