My Project

Our 2nd grade classroom is full of enthusiastic readers who are learning to engage with texts in deeper and more meaningful ways. To support their growth in literacy, we need tools that encourage participation, comfort, and collaboration.

With your help, we hope to provide:

Dry Erase Boards that allow every student to actively participate in phonics, spelling, and comprehension activities during reading lessons.

A Flex-Space Comfy Chair with Desk & Power Zone, creating a cozy, inviting learning nook for independent reading or focused small group instruction.

A Flex-Space Write & Wipe Table with Wobble Chairs, offering a flexible, collaborative area for guided reading groups and partner discussions.

Carpet Sit Dots to help organize movement around the classroom and provide visual seating cues during story time, read-alouds, and small group rotations.

These resources will help my 2nd graders stay engaged, support self-regulation, promote collaboration, and make reading instruction more dynamic and accessible for all learners.

My students:

My 2nd graders are passionate about stories and language. They come from diverse backgrounds and benefit tremendously from hands-on, flexible tools that make reading come alive. Many are still building foundational literacy skills, and tools like this help boost their confidence and participation.
