This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my students an opportunity to have bean bag chair flexible seating for our book club. We will be reading and discussing real life struggles they may face in their community. The flexible seating will help my students feel comfortable enough to continue participating in our discussions.

All students need the chance to find their place in the classroom, where they feel safe, secure and comfortable to learn.

The books I have chosen for this year's book club demonstrate how these characters persevered through the hardships of life and how they overcame them. Having snacks readily available and comfortable seating for our students in the book club will make a difference keeping them engaged and focused.
