My students need different seating options such as the donut ball, the peanut ball, and the chair ball with feet to help them increase their academic engagement and decrease behavior due to lack of focus.

My Students

I enjoy teaching my students. I have 13 boys and 11 girls in my classroom. I have a wide variety of learning and skill abilities. My students enjoy art and math.

My students are eager to experience new things they have not encounter.

They enjoying moving around and getting to make their own choices. They love the extra time I provide for them to tell me about their experiences outside the school. They enjoy feeling successful. I love all of them!

My Project

I have a classroom of 24 active and energetic first graders. They like to move and have a choice to where they seat in the classroom. I believe that with flexible seating I will facilitate my students voice their choice of seating options. The donut ball, peanut ball, and the wobble ball with feet will keep my students active since they are require to stay balanced.

After some research I learned that flexible seating helps increase classroom engagement, focus levels, and academic performance.

Flexible seating also decreases classroom behavior. Please help my students get the flexible seating that they need.
