Hello! I am currently a student teacher working in a Special Education Resource Room. I am currently looking to better the students' classroom experience.
The resource room is a classroom with a diverse population of students with many different learning disabilities.
I have noticed that many of them are wiggly, and they often get distracted.
Providing students with a chance to wiggle, while still learning, can better their entire classroom experience and help them perform to fully to their potential.
The materials I have chosen will make a difference in my students' learning by giving them the responsibility to make a choice on what works best for them and their learning. The flexible seating gives the students the opportunity to choose if they want to sit on the cushion or just in a regular chair.
These flexible seats will help the students learn in a more purposeful way.
They will be less distracted and hopefully perform to their full potential. These flexible seat options will help my students in ways that I cannot, and hopefully they will become more purposeful learners!
