Student musicians need a comfortable and safe place to sit while they experience music through movement, instruments, and singing. Currently students sit on a music carpet or on the tile in music class, which can be uncomfortable and limit their engagement with musical activities.
Implementing flexible seating in the music room can have a positive impact on students' concentration and focus during lessons.
Having flexible seating options such as wobble cushions, floor cushions, and floor seats will allow my students the opportunity to choose seating arrangements that suit their own preferences and needs. Ultimately, raising funds to fund flexible seating in the music room is an investment in students' well-being and music education, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive and excel in their musical journey!
