My Project
My students are active, hands-on and collaborative learners. They love to learn in all types of environments and through many types of experiences. They come from a variety of ethnic and economic backgrounds and include diverse learning styles and abilities.
Giving students choices helps improve their learning.
This project will better engage students and empower them with choices by providing diverse seating options. Flexible seating aids in collaborative learning, promotes a positive classroom community, in addition it can promote healthy, kinesthetic learning.
My students choose to sit on the floor all over the room and stand or sit at their tables. Many students choose to sit on the floor over sitting at their tables. I believe with more choices students will have a greater chance of finding the best space for them to optimism their learning and have better focus.
