My Project

Flexible seating is becoming more and more important in my early childhood classroom. Having a carpet with large colored spots will ensure each student has their own space. This will help with behavior management and easy transitions.

Wiggle seats will also be helpful for students that have difficulty with self regulation.

Many of our students come to school with various behavior issues that often include emotional struggles and little self regulation strategies. Having a wiggle seat may help with some of these issues. Some students need to have the ability to safely move their bodies while they are learning. Wiggle seats would be the perfect addition to our Pre-K program.
