My Project
This year my co-teacher and I are parallel teaching in our ICT (Inclusive Co-Teaching) classroom. We have students that are in General Education and Students with Disabilities. We will both be delivering a lesson to two groups at the same time. This helps students to stay more engaged and have more opportunities to share their ideas.
Every child learns differently.
Therefore, I want to give my students comfortable flexible seating options that will match their learning styles. Our room is not very large and students are either sitting on a thin rug or in their chairs during instruction. They are always moving around to get comfortable and to be able to see the lesson.
Giving students options such as lap desks with cushions will allow every student to see the teacher and let them sit comfortably. Students will also be able to use these seating options when they are working independently.
