My Students
I teach at a Title I school that is highly impacted by poverty and has a high percentage of English language learners.
In my classroom, my students have a great desire to learn new things about the world around them.
My Project
Research shows children who are able to move their body within the classroom are able to stay more on task.
Since COVID-19 began many of my current students have never been in what is considered the normal elementary school classroom. They have been learning online for much of their schooling; this gave them a lot of freedom for moving around.
These flexible seating options will give my students the ability to be able to move freely without losing valuable learning opportunities.
Help me get my students back on track with helping them stay focused on their learning with flexible seating.
