My Students
First grade is an exciting year! Students are growing as readers, writers, and mathematicians every day. They are learning to work collaboratively, problem-solve, and building independence. My goal is to create a classroom environment where all students feel safe and respected.
Over 25% of the students at my school are military connected.
This means that we have students moving in and out of our school all the time. We are proud of our military families and aim to make our school feel like home.
My school works hard to ensure that all students' needs are met, both academically, emotionally, and socially.
My Project
I work with a great group of first grade students. They are enthusiastic and eager to learn! First grade students are full of energy and need opportunities to move throughout the school day! Having Kore Wobble Stools would enable my students a safe, non-distracting way to get their energy out!
Wobble stools are a fun alternative to regular chairs!
Having 2 Kore Wobble stools would enable more students to be able to use these chairs on a regular basis.
We currently have some wobble stools in our classroom and I see that they have a positive impact on all students! My students currently rotate days for wobble stools and they all look forward to their day. 2 more stools would enable students the opportunity to get more than one day per week with a wobble stool!
