My Project

Our students' learning environment is one of the biggest influences on their learning. Day in and day out, students internalize the messages from the world around them. It is our goal to create an organized, thoughtful environment for our students to learn. This includes stations where they are able to independently access supplies and materials, have classroom areas clearly labeled, and sit in seats that work best for them as learners.

This is why it is imperative that we support our students with the materials that they need to be successful learners!

Flexible seating is not just a buzzword- it's a philosophy of teaching and learning that gives students agency over their own bodies and learning styles. It sends a message to students that we trust you to make good choices in the classroom- and students always live up to that trust. Without support from donors, our classroom has desks and chairs. It is support from our donors that allows us to bring the classroom alive with paper bins, signage, seat sacks, cushions and fidget supports.
