My students need a class set of carpet squares to use as they sit on the floor and 5 stools to use around the room as they work.

My Students

I teach 3rd grade students. I love this age group! They enjoy having their own desk, but they also love being able to spread out around the room as well. I would like to give them flexible seating choices to be more comfortable so they don't always have to be at their desks.

Flexible seating is important to kids!

Flexible seating allows students to have a choice in where they sit in the classroom, and they can choose what makes them feel comfortable. Kids needs to be able to move throughout the day and not be stuck at their desks for the whole school day.

My Project

I have already personally invested in some flexible seating options, which have been used in the past in my classroom. My kids love these simple options, but I'm looking to expand student choice in seating in my room for the new school year.

By donating to this project, you will allow all students in my room to have their own carpet square when they choose to work on the floor and also provide some stools for students who choose to work around the room.

These flexible seating choices allow students to get out of their traditional desks and move around the room throughout the day. Giving students a choice is very important, and I know my students would love new options this year!
