My Students

Our classroom is a social learning environment where the students come to learn how they can act and react appropriately in social situations. Typically, the students learn on their specified academic levels, but they require visuals and other tools to assist them in achieving their academic goals.

In our classroom, we work on both social and life skills along with the academic skills that the students are learning.

Each student has a set of goals that they are working on, as well as having a set of classroom goals that we want to achieve as a whole.

My Project

This project will help provide flexible seating to our classroom. What this helps to do is allow students who do not learn sitting at the traditional desk have seating that allows them to move while learning.

Flexible seating allows students with specific needs have the types of seating needed to let them move and shake, as well as allowing them comfortable seating to focus more on their learning, rather than focusing on what type of chair or table they need to learn.

By allowing them this alternative method of seating, this also allows them to better their learning by bettering their attention.
