Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Flexible seating will allow my students to have choices in where they learn. Motivating students to re-engage in learning after being home during the pandemic has been difficult. One way to motivate them is by creating a classroom that is comfortable and inviting. Additionally, allowing them the power to make decisions about what works most effectively for them gives them the best opportunity to be successful.
The products I have selected would provide several options for them to choose from to make more productive learning choices.
The balance balls will be extremely beneficial for students who need to wiggle. The bean bag chairs and lap desks provide students with varied options for working comfortably around the room. Starting each day with choice means starting each day with a positive attitude, which is essential to success.
