My Students

My class is made up of 24 happy, energetic, first grade kiddos. They are all so sweet and full of love. They have a lot of energy that I would love to channel in a healthy way. They love to move and groove as they learn. They all love to spread out around the room and get comfortable while they work. Flexible seating is the best way to allow more students to be successful in their learning.

We need some flexible seating alternatives for my students to use for classwork.

This will allow them to be more focused and engaged while completing class assignments.

My Project

We love to learn in a lot of ways in our classroom. Sometimes we want to sit, stand, bounce a little, and maybe even rock. This movement allows our brains to work better.

Please help us create lots of flexible seating choices for our classroom.

This will help us spread out around the room and work individually, with partners or in small groups. We will put these items to great use, every day!

Funding for this project will allow us to have a standing work table, another bouncy seat, some cushions and some more lap desks for working anywhere in the room!
