Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! I have started this journey of flexible seating in my classroom and would like to add more options for my students.

Young learners thrive with the opportunity for movement and wobble stools provide just that!

Wobble stools allow students to safely rock and move without the potential of falling out of a chair. These stools will help improve the safety, focus and engagement of my students.

Currently my students have to opton to sit on floor pillows at a table, use wobble chair cushions in their seats and work on clipboards around the room. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The wobble stools are adjustable and will allow students to sit at tables but will still allow some movement. These will be extremely beneficial for some students that just need to get the wiggles out. They can also be used as an alternative chair if needed!

I have seen how choice can positively affect my students work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more!
