My students need to move and have a comfortable place to read a book. The Sprogs can be a cozy place to sit and read. As for the wobble chair, they can move but still learn.
"Good, Better, Best. Never let it rest, until your good is better, and your better is best." This is the quote we use in my classroom. They have learned that they just have to keep working hard and they can accomplish anything they set their mind to. One way that we can better our learning environment is to have flexible seating in the resource room.
I am a special education teacher, and I have a wide range of students.
I work in either a small group setting or a one-on-one setting. None of my students are the same and they all have different ways of learning, but with the help of flexible seating in my classroom, students will feel relaxed and ready to learn. I service students from kindergarten all the way through 5th grade. Each student is unique in their own ways and no two are the same. They mean the world to me and I would love to help them in any way that I can.
My Project
It is time to add some more flexible seating to my classroom. I currently have one wobble chair in my room and student are always racing down to my room to get it. It is time to add additional flexible seating to my classroom to help cover all students needs. I want my students to be able to choose if a wobble chair would be a better choice for them to sit on or a comfy cube.
All students are unique in their own ways and they all have different learning needs and flexible seating can help students achieve this.
Donating to my project will better my classroom and make it a more relaxing classroom, and give student choice at what seating is best for them to learn.
