My Project

I am a third grade teacher looking to expand the flexible seating options in my classroom. I believe that students, especially in the younger grades, need alternative seating options in order to focus and participate to their full ability. Young students are active by nature and as a teacher I want to provided them with the outlet they need to get their wiggles out while still focusing and participating in class. Many students are kinesthetic learners so they need movement throughout the day to retain new information and grow as a learner. In third grade we have a lot of content to cover so we do not always have time for long brain breaks. Flexible seating is a great way for students to get movement in while simultaneously learning new third grade concepts! I appreciate all your help in supporting my students and their learning needs!
