My Project

Seat cushions for the chairs will make a difference in students' learning because when their bodies can be calm and relaxed, their minds can be more focused. Students will be able to have better posture and be less inclined to get out of their seats. My students are special because they are in elementary school and developing their love for reading. By creating the library to be a space that is inviting, fun, and centered around literature, students will look forward to diving into a good book.

My goal for this project is for each student to have the opportunity to have a space that accommodates their needs.

By being less focused on fidgeting in their seat, they can be more engaged with learning. Some students have ADHD, so sitting in traditional wooden chairs is not accommodating to periodically moving. Accommodating student needs is a top priority as a teacher.
