Flexible Seating for Success

My students need these items to place their classroom materials inside. Without this, flexible seating would not be able to be successful. They also need wobble seats to help them focus.

My Students

My school is located in a small, diverse community in West Virginia. The students in my classroom receive free breakfast and lunch because they come from low-income households. The economic needs of my students are very high, and the life-experiences of my students are very unique.

I have a wide variety of diverse learners in my classroom.

My students are eager to come to school every day to learn and try new things. They are active, hands-on learners ready to take on the world. They love collaborating with their peers and need that extra boost of comfort in order to do so.

My Project

These materials will help students focus much better in the classroom. Students have trouble focusing when they are in an uncomfortable environment, so different choices of seating is key.

With the integration of flexible seating, such as seat cushions and wobble stools, students will feel more relaxed in their learning environment.

The book containers will be a safe place for my students to place their materials in as they choose a different seat each and every day. With all of these items, it creates a positive learning area where students feel welcomed and have a choice of how they want to learn.
