My Project
It's often said that to have a productive classroom, students need to feel welcomed, cared for, comfortable, and happy. My classroom has become known as a place to relax and be productive during class daily. I have learned that different seating styles have become essential to help my students become even more focused and willing to work diligently in class. Not only do students work better when comfortable, but so do adults. I have students who need to work in smaller groups and work best at different styles of tables and other styles of chairs.
This project will allow my students to find comfort while learning and give them options to choose from small desk groups or to move to individual tables to learn.
The traditional classroom is quickly changing and transitioning to flexible seating and seating placement for students. It gives students a safe and comfortable place to learn. It allows students to be in an environment that is comfortable for them. For many of our students, school is their safe place. They are making it not only a safe and comfy place that will help all of my students succeed.
My students are resilient and will make any seating work for them. However, if I can make the classroom more comfortable for them, I would love that!
