Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are primarily from lower income families. They enjoy learning and are making great progress this year! I also have a visually impaired student in my class. He is friendly and eager to learn. My students have learned how to involve him safely in all their activities.
Our school is a place where students gain confidence and strive to be their very best every day!
We are a PBIS school, focusing on the positive attitudes and behaviors of all students. Every staff member spends time daily to reinforce the positive atmosphere of Valleydale.
My Project
The Flex Space furniture I am requesting will enhance the excitement my students already have for learning. They will have the option of using these pieces to move with or away from a group of learners. Students will use the furniture while completing writing assignments, reading, discussing topics with a small group, using the chromebooks, or completing a math assignment or game.
My students deserve the opportunity to brightly shine with their efforts to learn!
This project will assist me in giving them that opportunity and showing them that I truly do believe they are capable of doing great things, every day.
