My Project
Hello! I am Ms. Lugo. This is my second year teaching 3rd-5th Aut Core. As a new teacher I am still acquiring supplies to support my students with a variety of needs. Donating for flexible seating in an autism classroom is an investment in creating an environment that caters to diverse sensory needs and learning styles. Flexible seating options, such as standing desks, wobble stools, and cushioned bean bags, allow students with autism to choose seating that best suits their comfort and focus levels. This choice can significantly reduce sensory overload and anxiety, enhance engagement, and improve academic performance. By contributing to this initiative, you help foster a supportive and inclusive space where every student has the opportunity to thrive, demonstrating a commitment to both their educational success and emotional well-being.
