My Students

My students are in kindergarten through fifth grade with mild to severe disabilities, including Autism, Down Syndrome, learning disabilities, and communication disorders.

Help my students to successfully participate and enjoy school! Our elementary school is in a high-poverty area, and many students come to school hungry. Not all of my students are able to participate fully in their general education without extra support. These materials will help my students learn how to be successful, independent, and happy in life.

My Project

Students come to school will various strengths and needs. Studies have shown that giving students various options in seating helps to keep their sustained focus and attention. These floor chairs will help my students participate during circle time. My students will love being able to participate with their peers while being able to use flexible seating. The seats have cushioned back support to help with low core strength. You can lift the back to various heights for diverse learners. It can also be laid down for a larger spot to sit on and easy to store. My students will love these in our classroom. Thank you for your support!
