My Project

Hello,

I work within a special needs classroom and I am looking to rebuild the entire classroom to allow more sensory options for students.

The classroom is for high school aged students in all grade levels. The classroom has zero items for flexible learning options. I am building this room from only traditional classroom items and would like to make this room more open for neurodivergent learners. Flexible seating furniture such as the comfy, round, lounge chair and the standing desk can stimulate students’ sense of touch and they will allow for movement. Some students spend multiple class periods in this room and I need more spaces that represent their unique needs.
