This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a teacher with 10 years of experience in middle school classrooms I know how important it is for students to have one-on-one and small group support from their teacher. However many middle school classrooms do not provide teachers with adequate space and furniture to allow for small groups support to function seamlessly.
I would love your support in buying flexible seating stools and a few other items for my 8th grade classroom.
My students have spent the first part of their school year with inconsistent substitute teachers and I am hoping to create a space where they feel comfortable and confident learning in the positive and safe environment I create for them. You donations will help make our classroom a great place to learn.
