My Project

I work specifically with ELL (English Language Learner) students. My room is a place where they often feel more free to participate, take risks, and be themselves. The wobble stools that make up this project will help students stay alert as they engage in learning. Students are often asked to sit quietly in class for long stretches of time; these stools will allow students to still sit and participate while getting some of their energy out through appropriate movement. This type of seating ensures that students will sit up and lean forward which helps with focus and participation. My goal is that these wobble stools will help students engage in the lessons and make my room an even more special place for them learn.
