My Project

I will be using the standing desk to help promote flexible seating for my math intervention class. In this class we focus on small group instruction to focus on certain students and help them grow in certain areas of math.

My goal for this project is to help create a diverse learning environment for any student that comes in my room.

I have certain flexible seating options already in my classroom and with the addition of the standing desk I can utilize it for students who prefer standing or the use of high chairs to learn.

My students are special because they have the want and desire to get better at math. Helping create a room that feels safe and fosters learning is key to their growth. I have a strong belief that if they feel safe and comfortable then the learning part becomes much easier for them.
