Help me give my students flexible seating that will accommodate my student's need to move and groove while learning. The bean bag chair and adjustable tables will give them a new and fun alternative to seating.
This is my first year teaching and I was given a loving group of 24 kiddos. Each child has a love for conversation and an interest in hands on learning.
While their backgrounds are all different, they all have a purpose in my classroom.
It has been a joy getting to know them, which is why I have created this project. I want to provide a loving and fun environment to continue to grow their love for education and learning.
My Project
I believe that students need comfort and excitement when it comes to being in a classroom. By incorporating flexible seating into mine, I hope to give my students the ability to move a little closer to both.
Whether they sit on a cushion or a bean bag chair, it would be my students' choice where they get to learn.
All children learn differently and I don't want to just have them choose between a table and a desk.
By having flexible seating options, anywhere in the room can become the ideal learning space for one of my students. Because if success is one change of seating away, that's what I want to work on.
