This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, active, and have the potential to do anything they set their mind to. They are driven and love when they get to face new challenges in and outside of the classroom. These students have dreams of becoming scientists, basketball players, government leaders, and nothing can stand in their way! They inspire me and others every day with their creativity and positivity. They are so incredible and I am beyond lucky to be apart of their lives.

My Project

Teaching for almost 4 has helped me learn how different each and every student is. There is no right or wrong way to learn and my students show me that every day. Sometimes we need to make adjustments to make sure the needs of ALL our learners are being met so they have an equal chance at succeeding. Students who wiggle have a hard time focusing, and giving my students the opportunity to have flexible seating will better suit them and their specific needs. Flexible seating gives students the chance to focus during quality learning time and important instructional times throughout the day.
