My Students
Our public school serves a diverse, community-oriented neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York. The students of class 1-304 represent a range of wonderful personalities.
Our classroom is bright, silly, joyful, curious, spontaneous, creative, caring, and more!
They arrive to school each day with the biggest smiles on their faces and are eager to learn and have fun in a safe and supportive school. Throughout the year, they will learn an incredible amount from a fantastic team of educators. They are looking forward to a year of fun!
My Project
Students in our classroom are kind, bright, and work their hardest. Sometimes, it's a struggle to stay engaged when they're uncomfortable in their seats or on the rug.
The Hokki wobble stools will enable the children to get their wiggles out in a comfy, safe way that keeps that them focused and on task!
It is ergonomic and allows for rocking, twisting and turning, which "is critical to student development as physical movement both increases well-being and encourages the physical and intellectual maturing process."
We thank you in advance for funding this project and for giving these students an opportunity to be involved and maintain their focus in a fun and safe way.
