Help me give my students a more diverse seating option that will contribute to a better learning environment! We are asking for pillows, small stools and bean bags to help create a more collaborative and engaging learning environment!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are some of the most resilient, strong and optimistic people I have ever met. Like myself, many of my students learn better when they can choose where to study, work and collaborate. Offering flexible seating to my students will make our classroom a more engaging and comfortable place where students can look forward to coming to school everyday!
Please consider making a donation to my classroom to help provide my students with supplies they can use to make this upcoming school year more engaging and collaborative!
Thank you so much!
My Project
Hi everyone! I am entering my 5th year of teaching (2nd year teaching 5th grade) and will be starting to offer "flexible seating" in the classroom to my incoming class of 5th graders! I am so excited for this new opportunity and challenge.
When was the last time you chose to sit in a desk to read a good book for leisure?
Probably never. Studies show that students feel more empowered and motivated when they have the opportunity to choose where they sit. Flexible seating also contributes to better behavior in the classroom. Students are even likely to have better attendance and written work.
Thank you for helping me create a more positive and cohesive culture in our classroom! If you are wanting to know more about flexible seating, PLEASE ask! Thank you so much for your support.
