My students need Wobble Chairs and balance balls for flexible seating to help them engage and succeed with both focus and academics. Flexible seating will allow students to work in small groups by providing seating that fits their energetic and moving bodies.
I have been teaching and molding precious minds for 16 years. My school is a Title I school in northeast Tennessee. We have a diverse population and strive to teach the whole child. Our goal is to create a positive, engaging, risk-free learning environment where every child feels successful and reaches his or her potential.

For many, school is their safe place. For this reason, we strive to equip them with tools and knowledge for the future.
My Project
I have chosen various flexible seating options to help my students focus and achieve success in the classroom. We are a 1-1 laptop grade level. The laptop holders will allow my students to move to various work spots around the classroom to suit their needs. The wobble chairs will provide a constant "wobble" which engages muscles and provides opportunity to release excess energy.
Flexible seating encourages children to make decisions that support their learning styles.
Stability balls and stability ball chair holders are easy to move and promote a healthy, active seating environment. Flexible seating will help transform my room into an active, engaging learning environment.
