Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Six and seven years-old students are not meant to be in their seats for 6 hours a day. As much as I try and plan activities to support their gross motor skill development, it is difficult to do in a small classroom space with 25 students. In order to help them get some of their wiggles out while still doing work, I would like to purchase flexible seating options, like the wobble chairs, the portable lap desks, and the sensory cushions. These seating options will help both my neurotypical and neurodiverse learners stay focused in the classroom and get their work done between wiggle breaks.
